Mixed beans on toast

When the fridge is bare and you need a fast, filling meal you're likely to opt for pantry staples. This pot-luck recipe gives a whole new meaning to that old stand-by beans on toast!

Ingredients

Method

1.Heat oil in a frying pan on medium. Cook onion and paprika for 3-5 minutes, stirring until onion is soft.
2.Add beans, tomato and capsicum. Reduce heat to low and cook for 8-10 minutes, until sauce thickens. Stir through parsley and oregano. Season to taste and serve on slices of warm toast.
