Chilli pork ramen

Whip up this traditional Japanese noodle dish in no time at all. Complete with crispy marinated pork, yummy noodles, tender steamed vegetables and a tasty Asian broth.

Method

1.In bowl, combine pork, chilli sauce, garlic, ginger and sesame oil. Marinate at least 30 minutes.
2.Cook noodles following packet instructions. Drain and set aside.
3.In a wok or large frying pan, heat oil on high. Stir-fry drained pork 2-3 minutes, until evenly browned. Remove from wok.
4.Add leftover marinade and stock to wok. Bring to boil and cook, stirring, 1-2 minutes. Season with soy sauce to taste.
5.Divide cabbage and noodles among 4 large serving bowls. Ladle over hot soup. Top with pork slices and green onion. Serve with extra chilli sauce.

If preparing noodles ahead, rinse in cold water and toss in a little oil to prevent them sticking together.
