These tomtato, cheese and ham scrolls will go down a treat with the kids! Easy to assmeble, these make for a fun lunchbox idea or get the kids to help make them in the school holidays!

Toasted cheese and ham scrolls

Method

1.

Preheat the oven to 190°C and line a baking tray with baking paper.

Combine cream cheese and soup mix to make a smooth paste. Spread bread generously with the cream cheese mix, top with a ham slice and roll up from the long side to make a log.

Arrange scrolls on the tray, brush with melted butter and sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake for 8-10 minutes until golden and toasted.

These toasted scrolls will go down a treat with little and big partygoers. Thin slices of salami instead of ham work well too. The melted butter gives them a golden, toasted colour but use spray oil if you prefer.
