Method
1.Heat butter in large saucepan, add garlic and ginger, cook 1 minute.
2.Stir in spices, seeds and onion; cook until onion is soft. Stir in remaining ingredients, stir over heat, without boiling, until sugar is dissolved.
3.Bring to a boil; simmer, uncovered, stirring occasionally, for about 1 1/2 hours or until thick.
4.Pour into hot sterilised jars; seal when cold.
Store in cool, dark place for up to 6 months; refrigerate after opening.
