Method
1.Heat ½ the oil in a large saucepan and brown the meat in batches adding more oil as needed.
2.Return all the meat to the pan and add the onions, cooking until the onion is soft then stir in the paprika.
3.Add tomatoes, potatoes, capsicum, herbs, salt and pepper and stock and bring to the boil. Simmer gently for 1 ½ hours.
4.Mix the flour and tomato paste then stir into the meat mixture.
5.Serve it with rice and a dollop of sour cream or natural yoghurt with a sprinkle of paprika to garnish.
- Freezes well and makes a great pie filling
