Method
1.Heat oil in a pan, add the onion, garlic, turmeric, cumin and chilli paste. Gently cook for 5 minutes.
2.Add tomatoes, lentils, 4 cups of water and salt. Bring to boil and simmer 50 minutes or until lentils are soft and thickened.
3.Serve dhal with hot naan bread, coriander and yoghurt.
