Method

1.In medium heavy-based saucepan, heat oil; cook onion and garlic, stirring, until onion softens.
2.Add tomato paste; cook, stirring, 1 minute. Stir in undrained tomatoes; bring to the boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, about 30 minutes or until sauce thickens slightly. Stir in basil.

Sprinkle over grated parmesan cheese, to serve.
